@trudi my partner and I help people come off the suicide list. I am so sorry for your loss - it’s unimaginable losing a child let alone in such m tragic circumstances. What we do is different as it changes the feelings - it’s all research based and if you would like to have a chat about it, please ask David for my number.

it’s the least we can do to help you after such a horrific loss. My partner has just been awarded a honorary doctorate for his creation. It’s non trauma focussed and your son would want you live on. You are right - you can’t change the past, but there is one thing with Spectrum, you can absolutely change our emotional connection to experiences.

My sister attempted suicide at 21 and spent most of her life on medication. Having found spectrum; she is now free of medication and has more internal resilience.

Here is our website www.spectrumforchange.co.uk

Thankyou Victoria for your kind words, that’s wonderful to hear that your sister has benefited from spectrum.

Thankyou also for including a link, I will have a proper look tomorrow.

I promise you that I would never say to you, given your journey, that this works if it doesn’t. That would simply add salt to open wounds. As a mother, I cannot imagine how you feel - all I do know is that you can be released from the internal torment ❤️

Trudi I am so sorry for your pain. It must be unbearable. I can only hope that the years allow you to heal and enlighten people wrt to suicide. Suicide appears to be taboo these days. Whenever I see 'suddenly and unexpectedly', I am aware that most of these deaths are suicides. The press won't say suicide any more, no, its suddenly and unexpected. In our local area in England, I checked our local Coroner's conclusions lists, and that list is littered with suicides. On some says, 5 inquests will show up 5 suicides. It is a horrendous issue and now I am seeing more and more women on those lists. It is very worrying indeed. Its an epidemic and we need to address it

Thanks Debbie and yes, more needs to be done and more suicides prevented.

Regarding coroner verdicts, I know cases where the families don’t want suicide on the death certificates and they pressure the coroner for ‘misadventure’🥺

Yes I have heard that and it is wrong. Coroners are not helping the situation by doing that. I have seen some cases where misadventure was recorded but deep down, people suspect that suicide is a distinct possibility. Lock downs and restrictions have done far more damage to people than many want to acknowledge. For them, it's all about the jab, but the jab is just another contributing factor to excess deaths. I knew 3 people who took their own life during lock down and I know many people who remain mentally jaded and unrecovered since 2020/2021. I think this was by design and not just some coincidental outcome. That's a discussion for another time maybe, but I can't see suicide numbers coming down. They appear to be going up all the time in many age groups. There just doesn't seem to be enough support for people who are struggling

It’s been 4 years and 10 months since I lost Benjamin and the 5th anniversary of that day is looming. I hate it 💔

I would be so angry if I was you. I know its counterproductive to be angry, but I'd want revenge on so many people. I'm sorry for what you've been through

She was right to leave Twitter now X because it is incredibly poisonous. I allow myself to go on it for 10 mins per day and then close it down. I am sure that it drives some people to mental illness. If I scroll down that site, it is reams and reams of negativity, aggression, anxiety, depression and lies. I know that it's important to not censor these sites, but it's as bad now as it was 5 years ago, It has not improved

I've seen more middle aged women and young lasses commit suicide in the last few years than I ever saw in my life. There has been an increase of around 35%. Ladies, don't so it, ring the Samaritans if you have to, or pop into Alcoholics Anonymous (they will listen to you if you use drink as a crutch). Find a support group, There are loads. Shout 85258 is also a support service and you can also dial 111 if you have to. The problem in my local area is absolutely horrendous. It is soaring and soared even more since 2020. I'm sorry for all of us
